John: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:

John: Shakti, what's our first expression?
Shakti: ख़तरनाक
John: literally meaning "dangerous, deadly." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "deadly."
Shakti: [SLOW] ख़तरनाक [NORMAL] ख़तरनाक

John: Use this slang expression when you want to say "great" or "excellent" or "outstanding" or "extraordinary". It is similar to the English usage of "killer", as in "killer song" or "killer looks".
Use it among friends and people who are close acquaintances. Avoid using it with the elderly, your seniors, or anyone where some respect is required.

John: Use this slang expression when you want to say "great" or "awesome" or "cool". It can also be an answer to a "How are you?" question. While the slang had originated in Mumbai Hindi, it has become part of Hindi all over the country now.
