INTRODUCTION
John: Must-Know Hindi Social Media Phrases Season 1. Lesson 8 - Feeling Exhausted.
John: Hi, everyone, I'm John.
Shakti: And I'm Shakti.
John: In this lesson, you'll learn how to post and leave comments in Hindi about being exhausted. मीरा (miiraa) feels exhausted after a long day at work, posts an image of it, and leaves this comment:
Shakti: फिल्म देखने के प्लान को मारो गोली - अभी दस घंटे सोना बेहतर लग रहा है। (film DekhNe ke plaaN ko maaro golii - abhii DaS ghaNte SoNaa behTar lag rahaa hai.)
John: Meaning - "Forget the plan for going to a movie - right now, sleeping for 10 hours seems more appealing." Listen to a reading of the post and the comments that follow.

POST
John: Listen again to मीरा (miiraa)'s post.
Shakti: फिल्म देखने के प्लान को मारो गोली - अभी दस घंटे सोना बेहतर लग रहा है। (film DekhNe ke plaaN ko maaro golii - abhii DaS ghaNte SoNaa behTar lag rahaa hai.)
John: "Forget the plan for going to a movie - right now, sleeping for 10 hours seems more appealing."
Shakti: (SLOW) फिल्म देखने के प्लान को मारो गोली - अभी दस घंटे सोना बेहतर लग रहा है। (film DekhNe ke plaaN ko maaro golii - abhii DaS ghaNte SoNaa behTar lag rahaa hai.) (Regular) फिल्म देखने के प्लान को मारो गोली - अभी दस घंटे सोना बेहतर लग रहा है। (film DekhNe ke plaaN ko maaro golii - abhii DaS ghaNte SoNaa behTar lag rahaa hai.)
John: Let's break this down. First is an expression meaning "Forget the plan for going to a movie."
Shakti: फिल्म देखने के प्लान को मारो गोली (film DekhNe ke plaaN ko maaro golii)
John: When you add…
Shakti: ko maaro golii
John: ...after a noun, it means "shoot something" or “forget something.” Listen again - "Forget the plan for going to a movie" is...

Shakti: अभी दस घंटे सोना बेहतर लग रहा है (abhii DaS ghaNte SoNaa behTar lag rahaa hai)
John: The entire expression means “sleeping seems more appealing.” The phrase…
Shakti: behTar lagNaa
John: ...means “seems better.” Listen again - "sleeping for 10 hours seems more appealing right now" is...

Shakti: फिल्म देखने के प्लान को मारो गोली - अभी दस घंटे सोना बेहतर लग रहा है। (film DekhNe ke plaaN ko maaro golii - abhii DaS ghaNte SoNaa behTar lag rahaa hai.)
