In this lesson, you'll learn how to respond to the common question ""Do you have any brothers and sisters?"" In Hindi this is

The first word in the question is

A: ""meaning do "" in English.

A: Listen again and repeat.

A: This pattern of first introducing a word at natural speed, providing the translation, breaking it down, and then giving it again at natural speed will be repeated throughout the series. Try to speak aloud as often as possible. The next word in the question is

To say ""no"", in a simple way, just say:

A: Which is like saying No, I don't have any brothers and sisters in English. Let's hear it slowly.

A: And one more time at normal speed:

A: It mostly stays the same. Simply replace sister. Say I have a one older brother.

A: To expand on the pattern, replace one older brother with two brothers.

Now it's time for a quiz. Imagine you are visiting India and someone asks you if you have any brothers or sisters. You want to say you have (a) sister. Respond to the question.
B: क्या आपके कोई भाई और बहने हैं? (five seconds) मेरी एक बहन है
A: Now imagine you have (a) one older brother Respond to the question.
B: क्या आपके कोई भाई और बहने हैं? (five seconds) मेरा एक बड़ा भाई है
A: Imagine you have (a) two brothers. . Answer the speaker's question.
B: क्या आपके कोई भाई और बहने हैं? (five seconds) मेरे दो भाई हैं
A: Imagine you have (a) Two brothers and one sister. Respond to the question.

Thanks for your question.


The difference lies in "ke" and "ko". "Ke" is "of" and "ko" is "to". Here, we use "aapake" or "of you" and not "aapako" or "to you".

"huun" is used when you intend to say "I am".


"hai" and "hain" are used when you intend to say "my" or "mine".
