To answer your question, yes, it would be different. For a boy, you would use "pyaare" and for a girl you would use "pyaarii". But if you use "aap" instead of "Tum", you can get away with using just the word "pyaare" for both boy and girl in spoken language. However, if you want to be grammatically correct, you should still use "pyaare" for boy and "pyaarii" for girl, even while using "aap" in spoken language.

Does it make a difference if I say " Tum bahuT pyaarii ho." to a boy or a girl?
