Maya Maya Kumagawa Lama Maya is a Nepali-Japanese currently living in Japan. She presents for HindiPod101.com and also translates Nepali to English. She completed her studies in the US and holds a degree in Studio Arts from Williams College, Massachusetts.
Manasi Manasi Deshpande Manasi was raised in Nagpur, India, and currently resides in Tokyo, Japan. She has developed and edited content for Survival Phrases,Advaced Audio blogs, Hindi Pronunciation, Learn with Pictures series at HindiPod101.com. She holds a degree in Bachelor’s of Engineering. Besides Hindi and English, she is also fluent in Japanese, and she enjoys sharing her passion for languages with language learners from all over the world.
Vandana Vandana Rajyaguru Vandana was born and raised in Gujarat, India (Gujarat is a birth state of “Mahatma Gandhi”) and currently resides in Singapore. She is a regular user at JapanesePod101.com and believes that the core of every culture resides in its language. She received her BS in Engineering (Computer Science) from Saurashtra University-India and has a zeal for exploring different cultures along with finding fascinating ways to learn and share languages. She speaks Hindi, Gujarati, English and Japanese.
Neha Neha Arya Neha was born and raised in New Delhi, India, and currently lives in Tokyo, Japan. She hosts the Advanced Audio Blogs and Absolute Beginner Series Season 1, and also develops and edits content for numerous other series at HindiPod101.com. She holds a postgraduate degree in Computer Applications. Besides Hindi, she is also fluent in Punjabi and English. In addition she is very keenly learning Japanese. She enjoys sharing her passion for languages with language learners from all over the world.
Udita Ghosh Udita was born in Jamshedpur, Bihar in India. She’s lived in Kolkata, New Delhi and Dehradun in India. She grew up in India and Japan, and completed her undergraduate studies in Canada at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She speaks Bengali, Hindi, English and Japanese. She enjoys a variety of music, dances and English literature, as well as anything to do with Hindi movies and music.
Shakti Rana Shakti was born in New Delhi, India, and speaks Hindi and English fluently. He loves swimming, cycling, badminton, and the occasional yoga session. He has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management. He has lived in Japan, India, the US, and Canada.
Anuj Khurana Anuj was born in Makhu in Punjab, India. He is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and English. Although he studied finance, he chose to follow a different career path. He started his first job with Dell and then worked as a cabin attendant for an international airline. He loves playing sports such as cricket, table tennis and volleyball. Currently, he is pursuing his passion for acting and has been featured in more than 40 commercials and two films.
Prabhakar Singh Ojha Prabhakar was born in Siliguri, West Bengal, India. His colloquial skills include Hindi, English, and Bengali besides Bhojpuri, his native language. He has worked in India and Kenya and has visited Indonesia. Reading, writing, and learning have been his major hobbies, and he pursues his interests as a translator.
Roohi Roohi was born and raised in New Delhi, the capital city of India andthe heart of Hindi language. She did her Masters in Psychology from amajor central university in New Delhi, India and has more than 20years of experience as an emotional counselor. Her experience includesworking with alcohol and narcotics addiction, trauma (specificallyrape), and kids with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She has beeninvolved in writing language learning materials, translations, andcultural adaptations of psychological and health-related research andtesting documents for the last 15 years now. She has a passion forlanguages, politics, and sports. Her experience as a psychologist andher experience with kids on the spectrum helps her focus on theintricacies of language learning – not just technically, but alsoculturally.
