Hello everyone. Welcome back to HindiPod101.com, the easiest, smartest and quickest way of learning Hindi online. My name is Anuj Khurana and I am back with yet another interesting lesson of new words related to Hindi.
So today, we are going to discuss 10 Must-Know Words of Autumn Vocabulary. So let’s begin.
1. स्वेटर
(Swetar) is
“sweater”
Our first word is sweater.
So sweater is known as,
(Swetar)
स्वेटर in Hindi also.
There is no alternate word for sweater in Hindi.
उस महिला ने काला स्वेटर पहना हुआ है|
(us mahilaa ne kaala svetar pahna hua hai.)
“That woman is wearing a black sweater.”
2. बरसाती
(barSaaTii)
“rainy day”
Our next word is,
बरसाती दिन
(barSaaTii Din)
which means, “Rainy days.”
मुझे बरसात के दिनो में खेलना बहुत पसंद है।
(mujhe barSaaT ke DiNo meiN khelNaa Bohut paSaND hai.)
“I love playing in rainy days.”
3. तूफानी
(TuufaaNii)
“windy”
Our next word is,
तूफानी दिन
(TuufaaNii Din)
which means, “a windy day.”
कल का दिन बहुत ही तूफानी और ठंडा होगा इसीलिए अपना स्कार्फ पहने|
(kal kaa DiN bahuT hii TuufaaNii aur THaNdaa hogaa iSiiliye apNaa Skaarf pahNe.)
“Tomorrow is going to be a very windy and cold day. So please wear your scarf.”
4. ठंड़ा
(thaNdaa)
“cool”
Our next word is “cool”.
Cool
ठंड़ा
(thaNdaa)
आजकल दिन का समय बहुत गरम और रात का समय ठंडा होता है
(aajkal DiN kaa Samay Bohut garam aur raaT kaa Samay THaNdaa hoTaa hai.)
“These days, days are very warm and nights are very cold.”
5. पतझड़
(paTjhaṅ)
“autumn”
Our next word is,
पतझड़
(paTjhaṅ)
Which means “autumn”
पतझड़ सभी मौसमों में सबसे सुन्दर होता है।
(paTjhad Sabhii mauSamoN meiN SabSe SuNDar hoTaa hai.)
“Out of all the seasons, autumn is most beautiful.”
6. हैलोवीन
(haeloveen)
“Halloween”
Our next word is Halloween,
(haeloveen)
which is also known as हैलोवीन in Hindi.
हेलोवीन का त्योहार अक्टूबर के महीने में मनाया जाता है।
(haeloveen kaa Tyohaar aktubar ke mahiiNe meiN maNaayaa jaaTaa hai.)
“The festival of Halloween is celebrated in month of October.”
7. सुनहरी पत्तियाँ
(SuNharii paTTiyaaN)
“golden leaves”
Our next words are सुनहरी पत्तियाँ
(SuNharii paTTiyaaN)
Which means, “Golden leaves.”
पतझड़ में सभी पत्तियाँ सुनहरे रंग की हो जाती हैं।
(paTjhad meiN Sabhii paTTiyaaN SuNhare raNg kii ho jaaTii haiN.)
“All leaves turn golden in autumn.”
8. लम्बी आस्तीन की शर्ट
(Lambii aaSTiiN kii sart)
“long-sleeved shirt”
Moving on to the next words which are,
लम्बी आस्तीन की शर्ट
(Lambii aaSTiiN kii sart)
Which means, “a long-sleeved shirt”
धूप से बचने के लिए हमें लंबी आस्तीन की शर्ट पहननी चाहिए।
(DHuup Se bacNe ke liye hameiN lambii aaSTiiN kii sart pehaNaNii caahiiye.)
“To protect us from sun, we should wear a full-sleeved shirt.”
9. पत्ते झड़ना
(paTTe jhadNaa)
“falling leaves”
पत्तियां जड़ना
(PaTTiYan jhadNaa)
Which means, “falling leaves.”
पतझड़ में पत्तियाँ झड़ना एक आम दृश्य है।
(paTjhad meiN paTTiiyaaN jhadNaa ek aam Drisya hai.)
“Falling leaves are a common sight in autumn.”
10. थैंक्सगिविंग
(THaiNkSgiviNg)
“Thanksgiving”
Moving onto the next word which is,
“Thanksgiving”
(THaiNkSgiviNg)
which is also known as थैंक्सगिविंग in Hindi.
So थैंक्सगिविंग in Hindi.
(THaiNkSgiviNg)
“Thanksgiving” in English.
थॅंकस्गिविंग नवंबर के महीने में मनाया जाता है
(THaiNksgiviNg Navambar ke mahiiNe meiN maNaayaa jaaTaa hai.)
“Thanksgiving is celebrated in the month of November.”
