| सब ठीक है? (Sab thiik hai?) |
| कार्यालय गर्म है। (kaaryaaLay garm hai.) |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| सब ठीक है? (Sab thiik hai?) |
| “What's the matter?” |
| कार्यालय गर्म है। (kaaryaaLay garm hai.) |
| “The office is hot.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “What's the matter?” |
| That's: |
| सब ठीक है? (Sab thiik hai?) |
| Listen to it again: |
| सब ठीक है?, सब ठीक है? (Sab thiik hai?, Sab thiik hai?) |
| This Hindi sentence literally translates into "All okay is?,” but it means “What's the matter?” in English. |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| कार्यालय {adjective} है। (kaaryaaLay {adjective} hai.) |
| “The office is {adjective}.” |
| This Hindi sentence literally translates into "Office [adjective] is.,” but it means “The office is [ ].” in English. |
| For example: |
| “The office is hot.” |
