Hello and welcome back! Indian food is very spicy. Do you face problems ordering at a restaurant?

Hi Sabina,

Thank you for pointing out the missing sentence. We will look into it right away.

The words are spelt thus:

Shakahari: शाकाहारी

Mansahari: मांसाहारी

The word you're referring to - "व्यंजन vyaNjaN" - means 'dish', as in a single food item, rather than all food. You can find this word in the Vocabulary list.

Thank you for writing in!

Best,

Udita

And one more question: This word "wenshen" which is mentioned here as "food", does it mean food in general or just "delicatessen"? I thought that the word for food in general was "khana"?

And how to spell "Shakahri" (vegetarian) versus "Mansahari" (non.veg.)?
