My favorite shopping place so far is to go to a shop where they make up the clothes for you to fit perfectly!
Hello Shawn,
The plural for books is 'kiTaaben'. So it would be 'To yeh kiTaaben kiTne ki hain"?

वह प्रकाश बल्ब पर आया

The light bulb came on :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
तो....ये किताबों कितने के है? टा-दा!
to....ye kitaabon kitne ke hai? ta-da!
so....how much are these books? Ta-da!
Hello Shawn,
You could use the sentence 'yeh XYZ kitne ka hai' for any singular object no matter what the gender is. But if you were to ask the price of plural objects, you would say 'yeh XYZ kitne ke hai'. So notice that 'ka' changed to 'ke' and everything else remained the same. For example - yeh kele kitne ke hain (How much are these bananas for?) or yah phool kitne ke hain (How much are these flowers for?)
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Neha

I think I'm getting the gist of genders so would the "of" between "price" and "is" change based on the gender of the noun?
The sample sentence is: yah shart kitne kaa hai? where "shirt" is a masculine noun.
So would this be correct: yah kitab kitne kee hai? where "book" is a feminine noun?
Or in this case, would it always be "kitne kaa hai" no matter the gender of the noun since it's "is price of"?
oh yeah
thank u so much
Namaste!
I noticed that the pdf files became unavailable anymore. Is there a problem?
